Introduction

Strong and yet adaptable: metal has endless possibilities. The characteristic of metal is its ability to change shape, from solid to liquid and back again. Metal gains strength through a careful process focused on connection and thus symbolises finding new ways by sharing knowledge and joining forces.

Key Features

The Design

A communal square is created as a response to the plaza next to the NOW building at the opposite corner of Park 20|20, thus completing the diagonal axis that runs through the whole park. The wide steps gradually rise to deck level, and offer a warm welcome to pedestrians and visitors of The Campus.

The Square

The main entrance of the building faces the heart of The Campus. Its extravagant angular shape creates a spectacular entrance to the building. The building’s strict lines and sharp edges reflect the power of the metal. The sleek detailing with blue and silver panelling emphasizes this even more.

The NOW Building on Park 20|20

Conscious

Natural and recycled materials are optimally used when building the Campus. This makes the buildings both sustainable and future-proof. Greywater is collected, purified and reused and many of the roofs have solar panels. Cradle to Cradle in the true sense.

Comfort

From acoustics to climate control and from layout to accessibility: everything has been thought of to facilitate a pleasant working atmosphere. The air is continuously refreshed and the temperature remains comfortable whatever the season.

Both the Campus and Park 20|20 offer an abundance of greenery. According to Public Health Reports immersing employees in nature significantly boosts health and well-being, productivity and performance. It also enhances creativity and innovation – and reduces stress.
